Bike Repair
SG Bike Repair is a free service for enrolled University of Florida students with a valid Gator1 ID card.
UF faculty and staff with a valid Gator1 ID are now eligible for service at SG Bike Repair with applicable rates. Please see below for additional details.
Important Information & Policies
- SG Bike Repair does not service mopeds, electric scooters, or skateboards.
- SG Bike Repair is a free service for enrolled University of Florida students with a valid Gator1 ID.
- UF faculty and staff with a valid Gator1 ID are now eligible for service at the following rates:
- Single part installation (per part): $5
- Wheel truing: $10
- Full tune-up or bike assembly: $20
- Note: These fees cover labor only. Customers must purchase necessary parts or provide their own.
- If you need a bike assembled, please schedule your appointment before 1 PM to ensure completion by the end of the day.
- Each bike requiring service must have a separate appointment.
- Customers must remain with their bike while it is being serviced, as bikes cannot be left unattended.
- We are not responsible for your belongings.

SG Bike Repair service does not guarantee all repairs will be error-free. Our mechanics will do the best they can to repair and improve customer bikes. SG Bike Repair employees reserve the right to refuse service.
