ACTING AGAINST RAPE EVERY STUDENT’S TASKFORCE

A.A.R.E.S.T (Acting Against Rape: Every Student’s Taskforce) is an official agency of the University of Florida Student Government whose purpose is to provide education and programming about Sexual Assault and exploitation. We aim to spread awareness about sexual assault and inform students about the resources available both on campus and in the community if either you or someone you care about is a victim. We hold programs throughout the year, yet the majority of our programming occurs during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in January. AAREST events cover topics including Acquaintance Rape, Personal Safety & Self Defense, Date Rape Drugs, Campus Resources, Common Myths & Statistics, and more.
